🔐 Prerequisites
Before you begin, you’ll need the following details, which can be obtained by contacting your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager:
SFTP Server IP Address
SFTP Username
SFTP Password
1. Download and Install FileZilla
Visit the official FileZilla website: https://filezilla-project.org/
Click Download FileZilla Client.
Choose the version that matches your operating system.
Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
2. Configure Your SFTP Connection
Launch FileZilla and go to File > Site Manager.
Click New Site and name it after your company.
Set the Protocol to
SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol.Enter your SFTP Server IP Address in the Host field.
Set the Port to
22.Change Logon Type to
Ask for password.Enter your provided SFTP Username in the User field.
Click Connect. You’ll be prompted to enter your SFTP Password.
If prompted with an “Unknown host key” message, click OK to proceed.
3. Upload Your Historical Data
Once connected, you'll see two panes:
Left pane = your local computer files
Right pane = remote server directory
Navigate to the files you want to upload in the left pane.
Navigate to the correct destination folder on the remote server in the right pane.
Drag and drop files from left to right, or right-click and choose Upload.
Monitor upload progress in the transfer queue at the bottom of the screen.

After your upload is complete, notify your Onboarding Specialist or Support Contact so the ingestion process can begin.
