Walkthrough
Step 1 - Email Invite & App Download
The end user will receive an email to their inbox as part of the invite process. On their mobile device, they will follow this and first, download the Trusted Contacts app from the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2 - Accept Invite & OTP
Next, the user will Accept Invite from the email, in Step 1. This will open the Trusted Contacts app (it may open this in browser but will divert to the app) and present the user with the OTP Verification screen below. Here, the user simply enters the 6-digit code from the email they received.
Step 3 - Sign Up & Sign In
Once the verification has been complete, the user will be asked to Sign up. Here, their email address and phone number will already be populated. They will need to add their First Name, Last Name and create a password. The user will need to meet MirrorWeb password requirements.
Once sign up has been done, the user will be directed back to the Sign in screen to log in and complete this step.
Note: Once the first log in has been done, all further log in will use Biometrics to log the user in. This will be FaceID, TouchID on iPhone or Android fingerprint. If Biometrics fail, then it will revert to manual sign in using email address and password. They may be asked to allow this functionality.
Step 4 - Contact Access
In this step, once the user has logged in, they will be presented this screen only on first log in. This step is to allow our app access to their contacts, existing and then any new created thereafter.
We need a user to allow full access, so that we can grab all existing contacts but then any new contacts created in future, will ingest directly to the app.
User needs to Continue / Allow
Share All Contacts
Note: If a user does only allow some access, this can be updated. The user can go to Settings > Trusted Contacts > Contacts [Contacts Access] and change this to Full Access. If they aren't doing this already, it will show as Limited Access
Step 5 - Setup Complete
All steps have now been complete. The user will see the home dashboard and their contacts pulling through to the app. The user can manage contacts from here and flag them as Personal or Business
