π§ Summary / Purpose
This document explains how to create an export of your communications search results for off-line viewing. It also covers how to view recent exports
π Use Case / Scenario
As part of your compliance reporting, you may be required to export search results to pass on to other interested parties.
π οΈ Step-by-Step Instructions
Log into Insight here - https://my.mirrorweb.com
Click on Communication
Click on New
Scroll down to Platforms and select the platforms youβd like to export content from
Select a date range. You will always be required to enter a date range, as an example, we have selected "previous month".
Add any additional parameters to your search. Add any additional keywords or phrases depending on the search you would like to run.
Click on Search
When the results are shown, select the messages you wish to export (You have the option to select all)
βAt the top of the screen, click on Export
Enter details for
Name for your export
The format you require
Native (The format they were ingested in) or EML
The expiry period you wish to apply
Click Save
Go to Exports on the left hand side and click download next to the export you require
βYour export will now download
π‘ Pro Tips
If your export is for a large period of time, instead of having to wait, you will receive an email when it is complete
If the export is too large, you may have to reduce the time period.
Click on the link in the email to be taken to your export
