🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. From the Insight dashboard, go to the Communications module.

  2. Click on Lexicon in the sidebar menu. A dropdown will appear—select Policies.

Create a New Policy

  1. In the Lexicon Policies view, click Create Policy.

  2. In the Policy Creation screen:

    • Policy name: Enter a name for your policy.

    • Message direction:

      • All: Applies to all in-scope messages, regardless of direction.

      • Outbound: Applies only to messages sent by your organization.

      • Inbound: Applies only to messages received by your organization.

    • Platforms:

      • Select Global to apply the policy to all platforms.

      • Select Apply to Platforms to choose specific platforms:

        • Choose one or more platforms from the list to include in the policy.

  3. Click Show dictionaries (right-hand side of the screen) to view available lexicon dictionaries.

  4. Check the box next to each dictionary you want to include in the policy.

    • You can select multiple dictionaries per policy.

  5. When finished, click Create Policy (bottom right).

Your new policy will now apply to all future messages that meet the defined criteria.


💡 Pro Tips

Note: Policies do not apply retroactively to previously ingested messages.
