MirrorWeb Insight customers can use the MirrorWeb Archiver for X to capture content from a monitored X Page.

Enabling X archiving will automatically capture any content and interactions with an X account and pass them through to MirrorWeb for archiving and ongoing communications monitoring.

Pre-requisites

  • Administrative access to an X account;

  • A MirrorWeb Insight account.

Adding the app

To capture X data, please carry out the following steps:

1. Contact your MirrorWeb Customer Success Manager with the details of your X accounts and the administrator email to send the app authentication email to;

2. Your MirrorWeb Customer Success Manager will send invitation link(s) to the X Page administrator. Click the link in the email to continue.

3. On the screen that appears, click on Authorize app.

4. You have successfully authenticated the MirrorWeb archiver for X

Viewing content inside Insight

If X Archiving is enabled on the account, all content authenticated for will be automatically indexed within MirrorWeb Insight. As a compliance analyst, use the following steps to view only your Facebook communication archives:

  1. Start a new search by going to Communications >> Search within MirrorWeb Insight.

  2. Under Platforms, select Twitter as the target platform;

  3. Select a date range for your query and tap the Search button;

  4. Click on a message on the left-hand side to view the content.

Removing the App

If you need to remove the MirrorWeb Archiver for X from your organization, please carry out the following steps. Please note: if you remove the app, you will need to request an authentication email again from your customer success manager to reactivate.

  1. Log in to your X Account and navigate to Settings

  2. Locate Security and account access >> Apps and sessions >> Connected apps

  3. Click on the Revoke app permissions button next to the "Nuclei" app.
