MirrorWeb Insight customers can use the MirrorWeb Archiver for RingCentral to capture content from a monitored RingCentral account.

Enabling RingCentral archiving will automatically capture any content with a monitored RingCentral account and pass it through to MirrorWeb for archiving and ongoing communications monitoring.

Pre-requisites

  • RingCentral Automatic Call Recording (optional)

  • Activation of the "Enable Message Data Export" setting (optional, for messaging)

  • A MirrorWeb Insight account.

Adding the app

To capture RingCentral data, please carry out the following steps:

1. Contact your MirrorWeb Customer Success Manager with the details of your RingCentral accounts and the administrator email to send the app authentication email to;

2. Your MirrorWeb Customer Success Manager will send invitation link(s) to the RingCentral account administrator. Click the link in the email to continue.

3. On the screen that appears, click on authorize to grant the archiving app access to your RingCentral content.

4. You have successfully authenticated the MirrorWeb archiver for RingCentral.

Viewing content inside Insight

If RingCentral Archiving is enabled on the account, then all content authenticated for will be automatically indexed within MirrorWeb Insight. As a compliance analyst, use the following steps to view only your RingCentral communication archives:

  1. Start a new search by going to Communications >> Search within MirrorWeb Insight.

  2. Under Platforms, select RingCentral as the target platform;

  3. Select a date range for your query and tap the Search button;

  4. Click on a message on the left-hand side to view the content.

Activate "Enable Message Data Export"

To enable the Ringcentral Compliance Export API, your RingCentral admin must activate the "Message data export capability" within the RingCentral desktop or PWA application:

  1. Select "Settings"

  2. Select "Administration", "Messaging"

  3. Scroll down to "Message data export"

  4. Activate "Enable message data export"

This setting is only required for customers that require archival of RingCentral messaging activity.
