Understood how to set up partial tenancy capture for central connectors i.e Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams in MirrorWeb Insight.

Prerequisites

Before starting this guide, please ensure that you have the following information:

  • Log-in credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Access to the Management Module in MirrorWeb Insight

  • Central connector license(s) in MirrorWeb Insight

How to set up partial tenancy capture for Emails

  1. From the Insight dashboard (my.mirrorweb.com), navigate to the Management module - Connection Management - Connections

  2. Click on Add connections

  3. From the drop-down, select New Connection

  4. In the list of platforms that appear, select Email

  5. On the next screen, select your email provider, scope of capture(partial tenant access), input the email address of your provider global admin and enter the domain(s) in scope of capture.

  6. Click on Next

  7. Input a name for your connection and click on Next. You can also choose to save your progress for later

  8. On the next screen, you will be asked to upload a user list using the downloadable template provided. Note that partial tenancy capture will not work if this step is skipped. Once done, click on Submit

  9. Read and follow the instructions on the next page to complete your Email onboarding. Click on Finish

How to set up partial tenancy capture for other central connectors

  1. When adding a new connection, select Slack from the list of platforms presented

  2. On the next screen, select your scope of capture(partial tenant access), input the email address of your Slack workspace global admin and enter the domain(s) in scope of capture and click on Next.

  3. Input a name for your connection and click on Next. You can also choose to save your progress for later

  4. On the next screen, you will be asked to upload a user list using the downloadable template provided. Note that partial tenancy capture will not work if this step is skipped. Once done, click on Submit

  5. Once the connection has been successfully created, click on the key icon next to the connection to send out a connection request email to the global admin for authentication. Once authenticated, the connection's status should change from unactivated to connected

How to manage partial tenant connections

  1. From the Insight dashboard (my.mirrorweb.com), navigate to the Management module - Connection Management - Connections

  2. Navigate to the connection you want to access and click on View Connection

  3. Go to Accounts

  4. From here, you can Add new account(s) to your existing list of accounts

    5. You can also remove account(s) from your existing lists by navigating to the account you want to delete and clicking on Delete Account
