Summary

To invite a new user to your organisation in MirrorWeb Insight, you send them an email invitation from the Users page. When inviting, you choose which teams the user should belong to, and the user gains access based on the permissions assigned to those teams. The invited user receives an email to set up their account.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Admin access (the Users area requires administrator permissions)

  • The email address of the person you want to invite

  • At least one team to assign the user to (see "How to create a team")

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the Users page

Open the management area for your organisation and go to the Users page. The page heading reads Users with the description "Manage users for organization" followed by your organisation name.

Step 3: Enter the user's email and select teams

Complete the form:

  2. In the Teams selector (placeholder text "Select teams"), choose one or more teams. The helper text reads "Select the teams the user should be a member of." You can select multiple teams.

Step 4: Send the invitation

Click Send Invite. While the invite is being sent, the button shows "Submitting...". On success, a confirmation message appears reading "Invite sent to" followed by the user's email address, and you are returned to the invites list.

If the user is already a member of the organisation, an error appears: "User is already a member of this organization".

Notes

  • A user's access is determined by the teams they are assigned to. There is no separate per-user permission step in the invite form; permissions come from the team's configuration.

  • Pending invitations can be viewed, resent, or deleted from the Invites tab on the Users page. See "How to manage pending invitations".
