Summary

Once a sub-organisation exists, you can manage it from its page, which has three tabs: General (edit the sub-organisation's name), Users (view and invite users), and Access (control which team types the sub-organisation can use).

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Admin access (the Sub Organizations area requires administrator permissions)

  • An existing sub-organisation (see "How to create and manage sub-organisations")

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the sub-organisation

From the Sub Organizations page, click the edit action on the sub-organisation's row (tooltip "Edit sub-organization"). The sub-organisation page opens showing the General, Users, and Access tabs.

Step 2: Edit general details

On the General tab, the Details section lets you update the sub-organisation's Name. The description reads "Update sub-organization details".

Edit the name, then click Update (the button shows "Updating..." while saving). On success, a message appears: "Sub-organization name updated." Use Cancel to discard unsaved changes.

Step 3: View and invite users

On the Users tab, the Users section shows the sub-organisation's users with the description "View and add new users". Each user is listed with their name and email, a Status badge (Active, Inactive, Pending, or Locked), and a Type (Admin or Standard).

You can search by name and filter by status. To invite a user, use the invite button; this opens an invite form where you enter the user's Email and select one or more Teams ("Select teams").

Step 4: Configure access (team types)

On the Access tab, the Access Management section controls which team types the sub-organisation can use. The description reads "Update the team types for the organization. Adding or removing team types will grant or revoke access to associated resources and update the preset teams available to the organization."

Use the Team Types selector ("Select team types...") to add or remove team types, then click Save. On success, a message appears: "Access updated"; on failure, "Failed to update access".

Notes

  • Adding or removing team types changes which preset teams and resources are available to the sub-organisation.

  • The Users tab shows an "Edit user" action on each row.
