Summary
Sub-organisations let you manage separate organisations within your account. From the Sub Organizations page you can create a new sub-organisation, search the list of existing ones, and open a sub-organisation to edit its details.
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Admin access (the Sub Organizations area requires administrator permissions)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Sub Organizations page
Navigate to the Sub Organizations page for your organisation. The heading reads Sub Organizations with the description "Manage sub organizations for" followed by your organisation name.
The table lists existing sub-organisations with the columns Name, Created, and Industry Type. You can search using the Search by sub organization name... field and sort with Name (A-Z) / Name (Z-A).
Step 2: Start creating a sub-organisation
Click New Sub Organization. The form opens with the heading New Sub-organization and the description "Create a new sub-organization".
Step 3: Complete the sub-organisation details
Fill in the form:
Organization name - the helper text reads "Organization name must be between 1 and 50 characters." with the placeholder "Enter a name for the organization".
Industry type - choose General, Financial, or Public sector.
Organization type - choose Saas, Enterprise, or OEM Partner.
Team type - select one or more team types. The description reads "Select the team types for the organization to grant resources to." with the placeholder "Select team types".
Step 4: Add the sub-organisation
Click Add organization. While submitting, the button shows "Submitting...". On success, you are returned to the Sub Organizations list.
If the name is already in use, an error appears: "Failed to create organization", explaining the organisation name already exists and to try a different name.
Step 5: Open a sub-organisation to manage it
Back on the Sub Organizations list, click the edit action on a sub-organisation's row (tooltip "Edit sub-organization") to open it. The sub-organisation page has three tabs — General, Users, and Access — with the description "Manage details and access for this sub-organisation".
Notes
To rename a sub-organisation or manage its users and access after creation, see "How to configure sub-organisation access and users".
If you have no sub-organisations yet, the page shows an empty state ("No sub-organizations...") with a button to create one.
