Summary

The Escalations page in MirrorWeb Insight is where you view and act on items that other agents have escalated to you. Escalated items can be messages or web changes. You can sort the list, switch between a carousel and a list layout, open an item to review it, and take a review action.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Access to the Escalations area for your organisation

  • One or more items escalated to you

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Escalations page

Click Escalations in the sidebar navigation to open the Escalations page for your organisation.

Step 2: Review the escalations list

The page shows your escalated items along with a count of escalated items (for example, "1 item" or several "items"). Each escalation displays the escalation details, including who escalated it (shown by the escalating agent's email) and a risk level badge. If the escalating agent added a comment, it is shown in quotation marks.

Step 3: Sort and change the view

Use the sort dropdown to order items by Highest risk, Lowest risk, Newest, or Oldest. You can switch between the carousel view and the list view using the view toggle.

Step 4: Open an escalated item

Select an item to review it. The detail view shows who escalated it ("Escalated by" the agent's email), the escalation date, the escalation comment, and the risk level. For a message escalation the message content is loaded; for a web change escalation the page change is shown as a diff.

Step 5: Take a review action

From the open item, choose one of the review actions:

  1. Mark compliant if the item does not breach policy.

  2. Mark non-compliant if the item breaches policy. You can add an optional comment, which is permanently stored in the history report for the message.

  3. Re-escalate to send the item to another agent for review.

After you complete a review action, the item is removed from your escalations list and the next item is shown.

Notes

Note: When you have no escalated items, the page shows "No escalations..." with the message "You have no escalated items to review."

Note: Marking an item non-compliant stores a record permanently in the history report for that message.
