Summary

Your User profile in MirrorWeb Insight is where you manage your personal information and preferences. From here you can update your name and phone number, change your password, manage multi-factor authentication, and set your timezone and date locale. The sections you see depend on how your account signs in and the products you have access to.

Prerequisites

  • A valid MirrorWeb Insight user account

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open your user profile

Select your avatar in the top-right corner to open the user menu, then select User Profile. The page titled User profile opens, with the subtitle "Manage your personal information and preferences".

Step 2: Update your personal information

In the Personal Information section, edit your First name, Last name, and phone number. Select Save to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them.

Step 3: Change your password

If your account signs in with a password, a Change password section is available. Enter your Old password, your New password, and confirm the new password, then select Update.

The new password must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.

Note: The Change password section is not shown for SSO accounts, which authenticate through an identity provider.

Step 4: Manage multi-factor authentication

If your account signs in with a password, the Multi-factor authentication section lets you enable, change, or deactivate MFA. Select Enable to set up an authenticator app, or Deactivate to turn it off (unless MFA is enforced by your organisation).

Step 5: Set your preferences

In the Preferences section, choose your Timezone and Date locale. An example date and time updates to preview your selection. If you have messaging access, additional preferences such as HTML by default, Disable action comments, and custom keybindings are also shown. Select Save to apply your preferences.

Notes

Note: Each section saves independently — use the Save or Update button within that section to apply its changes.

Note: Your timezone and date locale change how dates and times are displayed to you across MirrorWeb Insight; they do not change the underlying stored data.

Note: If an update fails, MirrorWeb Insight shows an error message and invites you to try again or contact support at support@mirrorweb.com.
