Summary

To log in to MirrorWeb Insight, you enter your email address on the login page. MirrorWeb Insight then determines how your account authenticates: if your email domain is configured for single sign-on (SSO), you are redirected to your identity provider; otherwise a password field appears so you can sign in with your password.

Prerequisites

  • A valid MirrorWeb Insight user account

  • Your registered email address, plus either your password or your organisation's SSO credentials

  • A supported web browser

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the login page

Open your web browser and go to your organisation's MirrorWeb Insight URL. The page titled Login is displayed with an Email field.

Step 2: Enter your email address

Type your registered email address into the Email field (the field shows the example placeholder you@example.com), then select Login.

MirrorWeb Insight checks whether your email domain is enabled for SSO:

  • If your domain is not configured for SSO, the page reloads with a Password field.

  • If your domain is configured for SSO, you are redirected to your organisation's identity provider to authenticate.

Step 3: Complete authentication

For password login:

  1. Enter your password in the Password field.

  2. Select Login.

If you cannot remember your password, select the Forgot password? link beneath the password field.

For SSO login:

  1. Complete authentication with your organisation's identity provider.

  2. You are redirected back to MirrorWeb Insight automatically.

Step 4: Continue into MirrorWeb Insight

After you authenticate successfully:

  • If your account has multi-factor authentication enabled, you are prompted to enter a verification code before continuing.

  • If you belong to more than one organisation, the Select organization screen is displayed so you can choose which organisation to open.

  • Otherwise you are taken to your organisation's dashboard.

Notes

Note: Because MirrorWeb Insight detects SSO from your email domain, there is no separate "Sign in with SSO" button. Entering your email and selecting Login routes you to the correct method automatically.

Note: If your account is locked or does not exist, MirrorWeb Insight still shows the password field rather than confirming whether the account exists. If you cannot sign in, contact your administrator.
