Summary
In the Risk Management area, the Documentation page lists the compliance documents that define risks for your organisation. Opening a document shows its details alongside an in-browser preview, so you can read its contents without downloading the file. Preview is supported for images, PDF, CSV, DOCX, and common text-based files; other file types show "Preview is not available for this file type."
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Access to the Risk Management area
At least one document listed under Documentation
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Documentation page
In the Risk Management area, go to the Documentation page. The page is described as "Manage documentation within your business. This will define risks for your organisation."
Step 2: Find the document
Use the Search Documents box to filter the list, or use the sort dropdown to order by Newest, Oldest, Name (A-Z / Z-A), or File type (A-Z / Z-A). Each row shows the document Name, Document Type, Filename, and Uploaded date.
Step 3: Open the document
Click the document Name, or the View document action (the external-link icon at the end of the row), to open the document detail page.
Step 4: Review the preview and details
The detail page shows a header card with the document name, document type, a Download button, the Filename, and the number of Linked Risks. The preview pane renders the document inline: PDFs display in an embedded viewer, CSV files render as a table, DOCX and text files render their content, and images display directly. A Linked Risks panel on the right lists the risk categories the document is linked to, each with an Active or Inactive badge.
Notes
Preview is available for images (PNG, JPG/JPEG, GIF, WEBP, BMP, SVG), PDF, CSV, DOCX, and text-based files (including TXT, LOG, MD, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JS, TS). For unsupported file types the pane shows "Preview is not available for this file type."
Use the Download button on the detail page to save the original file locally.
Selecting a category in the Linked Risks panel opens that risk category's detail page.
