Summary
When Mira proposes a change to a risk category's policy, it appears as a Proposed Policy Update on that category's Activity tab. Confirming the update is done by clicking Approve, which applies the proposed policy as a new version. You can also reject it with Dismiss. Categories with a proposed update show a Needs review status on the Risks page and a "Policy updates require your review" banner.
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Access to the Risk Management area
A risk category with a proposed policy update (shown as "Needs review")
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Find a category that needs review
On the Risks page, look for a category with the Needs review status pill, or use the "Policy updates require your review" banner, which lists the affected categories and links to each one's Activity tab.
Step 2: Open the Activity tab
Open the category, then select the Activity tab. A banner may also read "A new policy version is pending review for {name}" with a "Review in Activity" link.
Step 3: Review the proposed policy update
Find the Proposed Policy Update entry. It shows a diff of what would change across Detection Patterns, Regulatory Framework, and Exclusions, and an "Applies to" direction (for example "All communications") with a note that "this can be changed later."
Step 4: Approve or dismiss the update
Click Approve to apply the proposed policy as a new version, or Dismiss to reject it. While the request is in flight the button shows "Approving..." or "Dismissing...".
Notes
There is no separate "drafts" list page or standalone "Confirm" button. Proposed updates are confirmed per category from the Activity tab using Approve.
After approval, the change appears in the category's version history on the Activity tab and the category's policy is updated. Dismiss removes the proposed update for that category.
Mira-specific behaviour beyond generating the proposed update could not be grounded in source; see "How to use Mira to manage risk documents and drafts."
