Summary
A "draft category" in MirrorWeb Insight is a proposed change to a risk category that Mira generates, for example from a compliance document you shared. Each proposal is tied to a specific risk category and surfaces as a Proposed Policy Update on that category's Activity tab. You manage it there: review the proposed change and either Approve it (apply it as a new policy version) or Dismiss it (remove the proposal for that category).
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Access to the Risk Management area
A risk category with a proposed policy update ("Needs review")
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Find categories that need review
On the Risks page, categories with an outstanding proposal show a Needs review status pill. The "Policy updates require your review" banner lists them and links to each one.
Step 2: Open the category's Activity tab
Open the category and select the Activity tab to see its proposed update.
Step 3: Review the proposed change
The Proposed Policy Update entry shows a diff of what would change across Detection Patterns, Regulatory Framework, and Exclusions, and the direction it would apply to (with a note that "this can be changed later").
Step 4: Approve or dismiss the proposed category
Click Approve to apply the proposed policy as a new version of the category, or Dismiss to remove the proposal for that category.
Notes
Refining a proposal (for example, changing its detection rules or wording before approval) is done by working with Mira in chat, not by editing fields on this page. After approval, you can adjust the category's Direction and enable/disable it from the category detail page.
