Summary
The Sentinel Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance overview of your organisation's monitoring activity. It shows summary stat cards, a breakdown of active alerts by category, and a list of pending alerts ordered by risk. This article explains how to read each section and navigate to related areas.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Sentinel Dashboard
In the sidebar, under the Sentinel heading, select Dashboard. The page is headed "Sentinel Dashboard - {organisation name}" with a date range shown beneath it.
Step 2: Read the stat cards
A row of stat cards is shown at the top. The cards that can appear are:
Messages processed
Total alerts — includes a button to View alerts.
Active scenarios — hovering shows a breakdown of active categories by scenario count.
Suggested marketing addresses — shown only if you have marketing-write access and there are pending suggestions; includes a View suggested marketing addresses button.
Suggested phrases to exclude — shown only if you have flag-write access and there are pending suggestions; includes a View suggested phrases to exclude button.
Step 3: Review active alerts by category
The Active alerts by Category panel shows a chart of enabled categories. Each category lists its name (linking to the category's scenarios) and an alert count (linking to the alerts filtered by that category). If no categories are enabled, the panel reads "No categories enabled".
Step 4: Review pending alerts
The Pending Sentinel Alerts panel lists the top alerts based on risk level. Each entry shows the category name, the Score, a risk level badge, the matched phrases, and how long ago the message was processed. Use the View All button to open the full alerts list.

Note: The date range shown beneath the dashboard heading reflects a selected interval (for example, the past week).
Note: The previous version of this article described summary cards for "new / escalated / resolved" alerts, scenario performance charts, false-positive rates, average resolution times, and a 15-minute refresh interval. None of these could be grounded in the frontend source and have been removed.
