Summary
Sentinel is the area of MirrorWeb Insight that surfaces compliance alerts raised against your organisation's communications. As messages are processed, scenarios evaluate them and produce a total score and a risk level. Messages that trigger one or more scenarios appear as alerts for your team to review and mark as compliant or non-compliant.
Sentinel is organised into the following areas, which appear under the Sentinel heading in the sidebar navigation:
Alerts — review individual alerts and take action on them.
Dashboard — an overview of processed messages, total alerts, active scenarios, and suggestions.
Scenarios — view scenario categories and the scenarios within them.
Variables — configure custom variables used in detection.
Suggestions — review suggested phrases to exclude and suggested marketing addresses (shown only to users with the relevant permissions).

How It Works
Alerts
The Alerts page lists messages that have triggered one or more scenarios. Each alert shows its associated scenario categories, a Score, and a risk level badge. From an alert you can mark it Compliant or Non-Compliant, escalate it, view it in context, and action similar alerts. See How to view and review alerts.
Dashboard
The Sentinel Dashboard is headed "Sentinel Dashboard - {organisation name}" and shows summary stat cards (for example Messages processed, Total alerts, and Active scenarios), an Active alerts by Category chart, and a Pending Sentinel Alerts panel. See How to navigate the Sentinel dashboard.
Scenarios and categories
Scenarios are grouped into scenario categories. The Scenarios page is headed "Scenario Categories" and lists each category. Categories can be enabled or disabled and assigned a risk level by users with the appropriate permissions. See How to manage scenario categories and How to manage alert scenarios.
Variables and suggestions
Custom Variables let an organisation configure template values used across scenarios. Suggestions surface recommended phrases to exclude and recommended marketing addresses. See How to configure scenario variables and How to review Sentinel suggestions.
Notes
Note: The areas a user sees depend on their permissions. The Suggestions item only appears for users with flag-write or marketing-write access.
