Summary
Mira is the AI risk agent in MirrorWeb Insight. It assesses your archived communications and identities against your risk categories and policies, classifying records and explaining why each policy did or did not match. Mira powers automated risk detection in Risk Management, runs as the AI Reviewer step in Workflows, and records a per-record audit history so you can see how each assessment was reached.
Mira is a reviewer, not an assistant for navigating the platform. It does not search your communications for you, manage connections or identities, or edit your policies — those tasks are performed through the relevant areas of MirrorWeb Insight.
How It Works
Automated risk detection
In Risk Management, Mira continuously analyses your archived communications against risk categories to identify potential regulatory breaches. The onboarding screen introduces Mira with the message that it "continuously monitors your archived communications to identify potential regulatory breaches before they escalate." You can either upload your regulatory documentation so Mira can draft custom detection rules, or start from a library of predefined risk categories.
The AI Reviewer step in Workflows
When you build a workflow, you can add an AI Reviewer node. Its panel describes it as "Mira AI review based on selected risk categories." You give the step a short description and select one or more risk categories for Mira to evaluate against as records pass through the workflow.
Per-record assessments and audit history
For an individual record, Mira produces an assessment that includes:
An overall AI decision and a risk classification.
A per-policy evaluation showing, for each policy, whether it Matched or is Clear, with an explanation.
A status of completed, partial fallback, or full fallback. When Mira "falls back" for a policy, that policy's reasoning is omitted and the policy is marked accordingly.
Provenance details and the workflow version used for the assessment.
The Mira audit history lists a record's assessments newest first. If a record has none, MirrorWeb Insight shows a message noting that the record "pre-dates Mira or was never assessed."
Notes
Note: What Mira can assess for you depends on the products and permissions enabled for your organisation, such as Risk Management and Workflows.
Important: Mira's assessments support your compliance review; they do not replace it. Always follow your organisation's established compliance procedures and consult appropriate experts when needed.
