Set up and manage schedules for connection-related tasks.

Summary

Connection request schedules send reminder emails on a recurring basis to connections that require authentication. You create a schedule by selecting connections on the Connections page and using the Schedule requests action. Existing schedules are listed under Schedules in the sidebar, where you can edit or delete them. Schedules only apply to connections that require authentication (OAuth and mobile platforms); selected connections that don't require authentication are ignored.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Admin access for the organisation

  • At least one connection that requires authentication

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Connections page and select connections

In the Connection management area, select Connections. Tick the checkboxes for the connections you want to schedule reminders for. (Use the header checkbox to select all on the page.)

Step 2: Open the schedule dialog

Click Actions, then Schedule requests. This opens the Schedule connection reminders dialog. An info note explains that "Schedules will only be configured for connections that require authentication. Selected connections that don't require authentication will be ignored."

Step 3: Complete the schedule

In the dialog, set:

  1. Display name — "Enter an optional display name for this schedule".

  2. Interval — choose Daily or Weekly.

  3. Start time — a Start Date ("Date must be in the future") and Start Time.

  4. End date (optional) — "Date must be after the start date".

  5. Run count — tick Limit run count and enter a count, or leave it: "If you do not select a run count, the schedule will run indefinitely."

Click Create schedule. A success toast offers a "Go to schedules" link.

Step 4: View schedules

Select Schedules from the sidebar to open the Connection Request Schedules page. The table columns are Schedule Name, Interval, Next Run Time, and No. of Connections, with an edit action per row.

Step 5: Edit or delete a schedule

Click the Edit schedule action on a row. The schedule page has two tabs: Schedule Details and Connections. On Schedule Details you can update the Interval, Next run time, End date and Run count, then click Update. To remove the schedule, use Delete Schedule in the "Destructive actions" section and confirm with Delete schedule — this "will stop scheduled emails being sent to the connections associated with this schedule."

Notes

Note: Schedules currently support Daily and Weekly intervals only.

Note: The Next Run Time column shows "Not scheduled" when a schedule is disabled or has no remaining runs.

Important: Deleting a schedule stops its scheduled emails. The dialog asks you to confirm the named schedule before deleting.
