Summary

The Connections page in MirrorWeb Insight lists all of your organisation's data source connections in a table. From here you can search and filter the connections, open an individual connection, select connections for bulk actions, and add new connections.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Access to the Connection management area for your organisation

  • Administrator access is required to select connections and use bulk actions

  • At least one connection already configured in your organisation

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Connections page

From the Management area, open Connection management for your organisation. In the left-hand sidebar, under the Connection management heading, select Connections.

Step 2: Review the connections table

The page is headed Connections with the subtitle "Manage connections for <organisation>". The table shows the following columns: Connection Name (with the admin email address beneath), Platform, Status, Last email sent, and an actions column.

Connection status is shown as a coloured badge: Connected, Unactivated, Pending, Expired, Deauthorized, Removed or Static.

Step 3: Search, filter and sort

Use the controls above the table to narrow the list:

  1. Search by email address... — type an email address and press Enter.

  2. The Platform dropdown filters by platform.

  3. The Status dropdown filters by status (options include All (excludes removed), Connected, Unactivated, Pending, Deauthorized, Expired, Static, Removed).

  4. The sort dropdown offers Newest, Oldest, Name (A-Z), Name (Z-A), Email Address (A-Z) and Email Address (Z-A).

  5. A page-size dropdown lets you show 10, 20, 50, 100 or 250 connections per page.

Step 4: Per-connection actions

Each row's actions column can include:

  1. A Send connection email button (administrators only, for connections that require authentication).

  2. A Copy Journal Feed Address button (for connections that have a journal address).

  3. A View connection button that opens the connection's details page.

Step 5: Select connections and use bulk actions

Administrators can select connections using the checkbox at the start of each row, or the select-all checkbox in the table header. A badge above the table shows how many connections are selected, with a control to clear the selection. With connections selected, open the Actions menu (top right) for bulk operations such as Send selected, Remove selected, scheduling connection requests, and exporting connections.

Notes

Note: To add connections, use the Add connections menu (top right), which offers New Connection and Bulk Upload Connections.

Important: Removing a connection is a destructive action. The connection's individual details page describes removal as "Remove this connection and retain all archived communication" — previously captured data is retained.
