Summary
The connection details page in MirrorWeb Insight shows the configuration, status and email history for a single connection. From this page you can update the connection name and configuration, view linked connections (for unified platforms), and perform destructive actions such as deactivating or removing the connection.
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Access to the Connection management area for your organisation
At least one connection configured in your organisation
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Connections page
From the Management area, open Connection management for your organisation and select Connections in the left-hand sidebar.
Step 2: Open the connection
Find the connection in the table (use the search box or filters if needed) and select its View connection button in the actions column.
Step 3: Review the connection header and details
The page is headed with the connection name (or its admin email address) and the subtitle "Manage this connection". A Connection Details tab is shown. The details card displays the platform icon and name, the status badge (for connections that require authentication), and a set of fields. The fields shown depend on the connection type and can include:
Admin email address (shown as User email address for mobile-capture connections)
Connection created date
Scope of capture (Partial or Full)
For email connections: Journal Address (with a copy button)
For authenticated connections: First connection email sent, Last connection email sent, Last reminder email sent
For mobile-capture connections: Phone number and Login type
Step 4: Update the connection name or configuration
The details card includes a Connection name field and platform-specific configuration (for example Domains for central platforms, or capture options for unified platforms). After making a change, select Update to save.
Step 5: Review additional tabs (where available)
For central and mobile-capture platforms, additional tabs appear next to Connection Details: a Captured Accounts tab, and — where partial tenant access is configured — a Tenant Configuration tab.
Step 6: View email schedules and destructive actions
If the connection has email schedules, a section shows Number of Email Schedules, Next Email Time and Schedule Intervals. A Destructive actions section (bordered in red) provides Deactivate connection / Deauthorize connection (for authenticated connections) and Remove connection.
Notes
Note: Removing a connection is described in the interface as "Remove this connection and retain all archived communication" — archived data is kept.
Note: Deactivating (deauthorizing) a connection invalidates its authentication token. It is only available for connections that are currently Connected or Pending.
