Summary

A scheduled search runs a saved query automatically on a configured interval. The New scheduled search page lets you "Create and save a new scheduled search to run on a configured interval". This article covers creating one from the Schedules section.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight

  • Access to create schedules

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Schedules section

Navigate to the search Schedules section ("Configure searches to run on regular intervals with preconfigured queries").

The Schedules list page

Step 2: Start a new schedule

Click New Schedule to open the New scheduled search page.

The New Schedule button

Step 3: Enter the schedule details

In the Details section, complete:

  • Name — "Enter a name for your schedule. Name must be between 1 and 50 characters".

  • Interval — select an interval: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually.

  • Start time — choose a Date ("Date must be in the future") and a Time.

Step 4: Build the search query

Below the details, use the Basic or Advanced tabs to build the search query that will run on the schedule. These are the same query fields used when running a search (Terms, People, Platforms, etc.).

Note: On the scheduled search form the date range is set by the schedule itself, so the per-query date fields are not used here.

Step 5: Save the schedule

Click Save schedule to create the scheduled search. While saving, the button shows "Submitting...". You are then returned to the schedules list.
