Summary
In MirrorWeb Insight, a user's permissions are determined by the teams they belong to. There is no per-user permissions screen with individual permission toggles in the reviewed source. To change what a user can access, you change their team membership, or change the permissions assigned to the teams they belong to.
QUARANTINE CANDIDATE
Prerequisites
Login credentials to MirrorWeb Insight
Admin access (the Users and Teams areas require administrator permissions)
The user must already exist in your organisation
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Decide which permissions the user needs
Identify the access the user should have. Because access is granted through teams, this maps to which team(s) the user should belong to and what those teams are allowed to do.
Step 2: Change the user's team membership
To grant a user access, add them to a team that has the required permissions; to revoke access, remove them from that team. You do this from the team's members page:
Open the team from the Teams page using the "Manage team members" action.
Click Assign to add the user, or use the remove action on their row to remove them.
See "How to edit a team" for the full member-management steps.
Step 3: Adjust the team's permissions (if needed)
If the team does not yet grant the right access, edit the team's permissions instead of the user. Open the team's edit page from the Teams page ("Edit team" action), adjust the selections on the Permissions tab, and click Save Changes.
Changing a team's permissions affects every member of that team.
Notes
A user's Role on the Users page is shown as Admin or Standard.
