Summary

Exports you create are listed in the Search Exports section ("A list of your requested search data exports"). Once an export has finished processing you can download it, or copy a download link, from this list. This article covers downloading a search export.

Prerequisites

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Search Exports section

Navigate to the Search Exports section. The list shows columns for Name, Type, Results, Created, Expires, and Status.

Step 2: Find your export

Use the Search by name... box, the date picker, the status filter (All, Pending, Processing, Complete, Failed), or the sort control to find your export. An export must show a Complete status before it can be downloaded.

Step 3: Open the download options

On a completed export, click the download control. A "Download options" popover opens.

Step 4: Download or copy the link

In the popover you can:

  • Click the Download export control to download the file.

  • Click the Copy download link control to copy the link to your clipboard.

Notes

  • Exports have an expiry. After the expiry date the download control is disabled with the label "Download expired", and an expired export cannot be downloaded. Set the expiry period when you create the export (see How to export search results).

  • While an export is still being prepared, the download control is disabled and reflects the export's status (for example "Download pending").

  • If you have no exports yet, the list shows "No exports..." with "It looks like you haven't created any search exports yet." and a New Search button.

  • If generating the link fails, the popover shows "Error generating link" with a support contact (support@mirrorweb.com).
