How to manage web archive exports

View and download exports of archived web content.

Summary

The Exports area lists exports of archived web content for your organisation. You can search and filter exports, see their status, open a completed export to view its detail, and download it.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Web area of the platform for your organisation.

  • The Exports option visible in the sidebar for your organisation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Exports page

In the left sidebar, under the Web heading, select Exports.

The page is headed Exports with the subheading "View web exports for ".

Step 2: Search and filter exports

  • Use the search box (placeholder "Search by export name...") and press Enter to filter by name.

  • Use the status filter dropdown: All, Processing, Complete, Failed.

  • Use the sort dropdown: Newest or Oldest.

Step 3: Review export status

Each export shows its title, URL, created date, and a file type badge. A status badge indicates the state: Queued, Processing, Complete, or Failed.

Step 4: Download or open an export

  • Select the download button on an export row to download it. The download button is only active for Complete exports (it shows "Export queued...", "Export processing...", or "Export failed" otherwise).

  • Select a Complete export to open its detail page.

Step 5: Review export detail

The export detail page shows the original URL, a Download export button, and cards for File Type, Status, Exported At, and Archived At. A preview of the export is shown (a PDF is embedded; other file types are shown as an image).

Notes

  • If there are no exports, the page shows "No exports" with the message "There aren't currently any exports available for this organization."

  • If a search or filter returns nothing, the page shows "No search results..." with the message "Try a different search".
