Summary
The Web Search area lets you search your archived web content by URL. You enter a URL and the platform returns the sites whose captures contain that URL, with the number of matching instances for each. From a result you can open the capture timeline for that URL.
Prerequisites
Access to the Web area of the platform for your organisation.
The Search option visible in the sidebar for your organisation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Web Search
In the left sidebar, under the Web heading, select Search.
The page is headed Web Search with the subheading "Search across your archived web content". The search panel is headed Capture Search with the description "Search for a specific URL within your organizations's captures".
Step 2: Enter a URL
In the URL field (placeholder "e.g. www.example.com/about-us"), enter an exact URL to search for. The URL field is required.
Step 3: Run the search

Step 4: Review and open results
Each result lists the site, with a badge showing the number of matching instances. Select a result to open the Capture Timeline for that URL within the site. Use the Previous and Next buttons to page through results.
Notes
If no captures contain the URL, the page shows "No results" with the message "No sites found containing the URL """.
A URL search is also available within a single site from its instances page (the Search button opens a "URL search" dialog). See "How to view site instances and capture history".
From a search result, the capture timeline lets you select a specific dated capture. See "How to use the capture timeline".
